Innovation District: A Vision for Mykolaiv’s Future

This report presents the first pilot project following the adoption of Mykolaiv’s city-wide strategy—the Innovation District. Positioned at the crossroads of the city centre, the historic Shipyard, and the airport, this dynamic new hub is set to drive regeneration through education, research, and sustainable development. Anchored by the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, the district integrates urban design, mobility, and landscape strategies to shape a forward-looking model for living and working. Its principles aim to inspire future developments and set a standard for resilient urban growth in Mykolaiv.
